Troubled times. Can we be surprised by hope again?

Please join us at the public lecture by Dr. Thabo Makgoba, Archbishop of Cape Town and Primate of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, successor to Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Archbishop Njongonkulu Ndungane, on 3 June at the English Reformed Church (Begijnhof 48, 1012 WV Amsterdam) from 19:30 till 21:00. 

Reflections will be given by:

  • Kyeni Eva Abel, PhD-candidate on maternal health and theology, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
  • Christiaan Rebergen, Secretary-General at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The evening will conclude with the presentation of the book Voices of Hope, containing 30 voices of hope from different continents, disciplines, generations, and religious traditions.
